Yoga for all, guiding the practice back to a place of love.
Yoga is my expression of art, as well as my way of life, my practice of attending to myself so I can be present for others. It is not confined to the yoga mat or a specific posture. Each movement is woven by my breath and echoed by the beat of my heart. Yoga is my spiritual anchor, a constant reminder that healing is a journey, and I am committed to walking that path, both personally and in service to others.
My passion lies in facilitating yoga for mental health, where I guide others with love and compassion, helping them rediscover their inner strength and resilience. I focus on bringing us back to a place of self-love and empathy, creating a nurturing space for those navigating addiction, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Working in the recovery sector, I firmly believe yoga is a form of medicine—one that transcends the physical practice (asana) and delves deep into the emotional and mental realms. It has the power to restore balance, build inner peace, and foster emotional release, making it an essential tool in the healing process.
In my classes, I strive to make yoga accessible to everyone—financially, physically, and emotionally—drawing on my life experiences to guide with an open, compassionate, and full heart. My approach is rooted in inclusivity, ensuring that anyone, regardless of where they are on their yoga journey, feels welcome and supported. I often teach in community centres, where the focus is on creating a space free of judgment and expectation. Yoga doesn’t need to be a fashion statement or an intimidating experience; it should be a safe, inclusive space for anyone curious about this healing path.
It doesn't matter what you're wearing, what kind of mat you have, your body shape, size, or experience level—whether you're new to yoga or have practiced for years—let’s come together, as we are, to flow, breathe, and heal as one. Through yoga, we create community, honour our shared humanity, and recognise that we are all on this journey of healing and growth, walking each other back home.
I’m here to share this practice with open and experienced arms. I draw from the wisdom of my wonderful teachers, mental health trainings, literature, and so much more, cultivating a compassionate space for all who join.
I offer tailor-made one-on-one sessions for those seeking to deepen their practice on a more personal level. Whether it's through meditation, movement, sound, or a combination of all, I am deeply passionate about creating a space where you can evolve and grow into a deep sense of love and compassion for yourself. Together, we will find a practice that suits you and resonates with your unique journey.
I look forward to the possibility of working together.
