Hello I’m Bella, I am here for you…
‘Yoga is the journey of the self,
Through the self,
To the self’
The Bhagavad Gita
My Journey:
I met with yoga over 10 years ago when my mum invited me to the local class. I often think back to those classes and remember not only the curiosity I had, but my intention for going, which was to find a sense of stillness in my busy mind.
Yoga has since been my guide, and with life came some rather harsh and painful moments to which I returned to my mat to explore a way to re connect and heal.
No journey is easy, and yoga can not simply ‘fix’ what is ‘broken’ but rather, in my experience, yoga can guide us to a place of love, and that heals the wounds.
Yoga has taught me many valuable lessons, to know myself, find a home in my body, to accept, to remain open. Yoga has given me strength when I have felt weak and a purpose when I have felt lost. Yoga continues to walk me back home to myself, and for this I will remain humble and deeply grateful to my practice and teachers.
I choose to tech yoga for this reason. To share with you a medicine, that I so believe, truly works. Offering others a similar pathway to a deeper sense of wellbeing and connection to life. I guide with compassion, honesty and love.
Here with open arms, I so look forward to meeting you.
Professional background:
With a background In working within the mental health sector, I have gained not only a great experience but a deep profound set of skills and in depth knowledge. I am on a mission to share the practice of yoga as a tool to help reduce the symptoms of difficult mental health.
I continue to design and curate a practice that helps to cultivate safety in the body with a particular focus on the nervous system and how we can begin to help heal ourselves.
Trainings:
Ongoing self study- I believe in the importance of self study as a teacher, to offer students an authentic and personal approach to yoga. As well as having trained with different teachers I can offer different insights from a varied and broad perspective.
